Forsyth County Animal Shelter Waives All Adoption Fees

The standard $85 adoption fee has been waived on all animals at the shelter through Sept. 1.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA – To enhance their “Summer of Love” adoption special, the Forsyth County Animal Shelter is waiving all adoption fees for animals through Sept. 1, 2018.

“We have had such a great reaction to the ‘Summer of Love’ adoption promotion from the county that we wanted to make it even better by waiving all fees for residents looking to add a pet to their family this summer,” said Animal Shelter Manager Cindy Iacopella. “We have a large number of animals, including an abundance of kittens, that are in need of a home during this time of year. We are hopeful that enhancing this promotion will help families be able to bring a new companion home.”

The shelter launched the “Summer of Love” promotion in June, cutting their $85 pet adoption fee to $40 for all animals. The shelter’s adoption fee includes microchipping for all pets, spaying/neutering and age appropriate vaccinations.
