Forsyth County Recognizes Employee Retiring After 34 Years
The deputy chief appraiser served in the Forsyth County Tax Assessor's Office.

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners this monthΒ recognized a retiring employee for his many years of service with Forsyth County government.
James Payne was recognized by the board at its Sept. 19 meetingΒ and presented with a plaque.Β

Payne retired from his position as deputy chief appraiser, following 34 years of dedicated service in the Forsyth County Tax Assessorβs Office.
βOn behalf of the Board of Commissioners, I want to say thank you for the excellent service you have provided to Forsyth County government over the years,β Commission Chairman R.J. "Pete" Amos said in a statement. βWe wish you the best in your retirement.β
