Forsyth County Singer 'Stolen' on 'The Voice'

Riley Biederer was moments away from heading home, but one of the judges on the reality show saved her from elimination.

A Forsyth County musician who is featured on a popular reality competition is staying on after she was saved by one of the show’s judges Monday night.

Riley Biederer, who went into Monday’s episode under the tutelage of Pharrell Williams, went up against fellow Team Pharrell member Evan McKeel in a head-to-head rendition of Stevie Wonder’s β€œHigher Ground” for the right to move on to the knockout stage.

Pharrell chose McKeel as the winner of the head-to-head, sending Biederer back to Forsyth County.

Moments after Pharrell made his decision, fellow judge Gwen Stefani stepped in to β€œsteal” Biederer off of Team Pharrell and bring her on to Team Gwen, keeping her in the competition.
