Forsyth Family Receives Trip Of A Lifetime
Sam, 8, of Cumming, was chosen to be a part of this year's Bert's Big Adventure trip to Disney World in February.

CUMMING, GA β Bertβs Big Adventure, a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families, has picked this year's families to attend.
This February, the organization will be embarking on their 18th annual trip to Walt Disney World, and after careful consideration as well as sorting through hundreds of applications, the Bertβs Big Adventure selection committee has chosen 13 children and their families to be a part of this yearβs trip, including Sam V., 8, from Cumming.

βIt is such an honor to welcome these amazing kids and their families to Bertβs Big Adventure,β said Bertβs Big Adventure founder and host of βThe Bert Show,β Bert Weiss. βThe trip will be an adventure they will never forget, and we are so excited to be sharing this truly magical experience with them.β
To qualify for Bertβs Big Adventure, a child must be between the ages of 5-12 years old and live in βThe Bert Showβ radio listening area, prove financial need and have never been to Walt Disney World. To date, Bertβs Big Adventure has served more than 230 children and their families through its trip to Disney, Fairy Godparent Volunteer Program and Reunion Adventures.
