FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — A Forsyth County porch pirate caught on video was recongized by a Sheriff's deputy as already in custody before video could even be released.
"‘Tis the season for those pesky porch pirates," accounced the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office on their Facebook page. "FCSO recently took a report of a package theft from a citizen’s front porch. Video footage obtained from the complaint’s Ring doorbell gave us a clear image of the suspect.
"A BOLO was sent out to the agency, and before we could even make it public an attenive FCSO Deputy Tucker was able to identify the suspect as Levi Brown who was currently being held in the Forsyth County Jail for an unrelated charge. Upon investigation of the booking photo and the clothing held in property, both were a match to the video footage. Once FCSO Detective Hoek interviewed Mr. Brown and presented the images captured from the video footage, he confessed to the crime."
