Forsyth Sheriff Accepting Applications for Tow Company Rotation System
Application packets, which can be downloaded, emailed or picked up at the sheriff's office in Cumming, are due Sept. 16.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is accepting applicationsΒ for itsΒ tow services rotation system, which it usesΒ to remove and store vehicles in normal daily operations, such asΒ when a driver is arrested.Β
"The Tow Service Rotation system is established to provide sheriffβs deputies with reliable and professional towing assistance for the removal and storage of vehicles as permitted by law," said Capt. Mark Flowers in an open letter.
Applications for the Oct. 1, 2013, to Sept. 30, 2014, fiscal yearΒ are now being accepted. The deadline to submit theΒ completed application packet is Sept. 16, 2013.

AfterΒ an application has beenΒ submitted and approved, the sheriff's office will contact the tow companyΒ regarding an onsite inspection of its storage lot and towing equipment.
Application packets may be downloaded from the sheriffβs office's website atΒ www.forsythsheriff.org (click on Registration Forms), picked up at the Forsyth County Sheriffβs Office at second-floor reception,Β 475 Tribble Gap Road inΒ Cumming or requested via email.
