Forsyth Sheriff Accepting Applications for Tow Company Rotation System

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for its tow services rotation system, which it uses to remove and store vehicles in normal daily operations, such as when a driver is arrested. 

"The Tow Service Rotation system is established to provide sheriff’s deputies with reliable and professional towing assistance for the removal and storage of vehicles as permitted by law," said Capt. Mark Flowers in an open letter.

Applications for the Oct. 1, 2013, to Sept. 30, 2014, fiscal year are now being accepted. The deadline to submit the completed application packet is Sept. 16, 2013.

After an application has been submitted and approved, the sheriff's office will contact the tow company regarding an onsite inspection of its storage lot and towing equipment.

Application packets may be downloaded from the sheriff’s office's website at www.forsythsheriff.org (click on Registration Forms), picked up at the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office at second-floor reception, 475 Tribble Gap Road in Cumming or requested via email.
