Free Adopt-A-Stream Workshops Offered By Keep Forsyth Beautiful
Two free adopt-a-stream workshops to be held in October.

FORYTH COUNTY, GA β Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB), a Keep America Beautiful Affiliate, is offering free Adopt-A-Stream workshops to educate citizens on how to protect and monitor their local waterways. There will be one workshop each for Macroinvertebrate Assessment and Chemical/Bacterial Certification in October.
The workshops are suitable for ages third grade and up. Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The workshops may involve getting wet, so participants are encouraged to wear appropriate shoes and clothing.
Both workshops will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cumming City Hall, 100 Main St., on the following dates:

Macroinvertebrate Assessment: October 6
Chemical/Bacterial Certification: October 14
Upon completion of each workshop, participants will receive a certificate from Georgia Adopt-A-Stream that allows citizens to report water quality data anywhere in the state of Georgia.
