Also this week, storm watchers will be monitoring a pair of storm systems in the Atlantic. As we enter the peak for the Atlantic hurricane season, forecasters are predicting a year that is more active than normal.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. East wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 89.
Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90.
Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91.
Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91.
