Groundbreaking for Two SR 20 Projects Scheduled
The highway improvements will improve mobility in the area.

Groundbreaking for two highway improvementΒ projects to improve mobility in Forsyth and Gwinnett counties are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19.
State Route 20 will be widened fromΒ two to four lanes and a median addedΒ from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to the Chattahoochee River in Gwinnett. Also, the bridge over the river will be replaced with a four-lane structureΒ to improve traffic flow between Cumming and Sugar Hill.
The groundbreaking ceremony will occur at Sugar Hill Church, 5091 Nelson Brogdon Boulevard and State Route 20 in nearby Sugar Hill.
If you're going, parking is limited, so car pooling is encouraged.
