Hall County Shooting Sends Woman To Hospital

HALL COUNTY, GA – The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred outside of a home late Wednesday night.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a call in the 1200 block of Marlow
Drive where they discovered a 37-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. The
woman and a man companion were in a vehicle in front of a home when an unknown man
approached. Without warning, the man fired at the woman, striking her in the face, and
left the scene.

The victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta in critical condition. The man in the car with the woman was not injured during the incident.

The case remains under investigation by Hall County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
