House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams Visits Forsyth County

The event, entitled "1st Class Citizens, Women," will be held at the Cumming Playhouse Tuesday night.

The Forsyth County Democratic Party (FCDP) welcomes House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams to town.

"This is really a historic event," said Sharon Gunter, chair of the FCDP. "She is the first female leader of the Georgia General Assembly to come and make a presentation in our county."

The event, entitled "1st Class Citizens, Women," will be held at the located at School Street Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Gunter says Abrams will be discussing the hottest topics that are in the legislature concerning women, including healthcare issues.

Following Abrams address there will be a question and answer session. Then from 8:30 to 9 p.m. a reception will be held.
