Local Seventh Grader Earns President's Award

Ashish Bhagavatula has received the President's Volunteer Service Award.

Pinecrest Academy 7th grader, Ashish Bhagavatula, has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) Gold Award. This national award is a Presidential honor that recognizes valuable contributions of volunteers who are answering the President's call to serve their community and the nation through current volunteer activities. To earn PVSA Gold, teens 15 and younger need 100+ hours, and those 16 and older need 250+ hours.

Bhagavatula has truly answered the call, volunteering for many non-profits, such as Friend in Me, RecycleBalls.org, Northside Hospital (Alpharetta), Reycle My Battery, and The Horse Rescue, Relief and Retirement Fund, Inc. (HRRRFI), to name a few.

Bhagavatula earned the PVSA Silver award in 2023.
