Midway UMC 5K to Benefit Meals by Grace

This race will start and end at Midway United Methodist Church located at 5025 Atlanta Highway in Alpharetta, Ga.

Our 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. with walk ups and number pickup at 7:00 a.m. This race is both runner and walker friendly, and costumes are welcome. Individual price is $30 and group rates are $25 till October 8th. The 5K will be followed by a kid’s obstacle course (ages 5-12) and our Family Friendly Festival. Proceeds from this Peachtree qualifier will benefit Meals by Grace a non-profit that serves hungry children and families in Forsyth, Ga. Currently, they cook and deliver a warm meal and other goods on a weekly basis to 37 families. Their hope is to grow this to 50. The hot meals program is focused exclusively on children recommended to them by the Forsyth County School Social Workers, and the pantry is open to anyone with a self-declared need.
