Missing Child Located Safe

A 6-year-old boy who disappeared and was feared abducted from Cumming on Friday has been found safe, sheriff’s deputies said Sunday night.

Trevor Cargle was located at approximately 6:30 p.m., according to information posted by the sheriff’s office on Facebook. It’s not known if Amber Fisher, Cargle’s biological mother who allegedly took the child despite not having custodial rights, was arrested.

“We reached close to 300,000 people with that post thanks to your help,” the office’s Facebook page said Sunday night. “Getting the word out so quickly was very helpful in the resolution of this case.”
