Lunch lines were out the door at the Chick-fil-A on Atlanta Road in Cumming as political sides in the same-sex marriage controversy have issued "calls to action" at the restaurant chain's outlets.
This could be an interesting week for Chick-fil-A, the Atlanta-based restaurant chain that recently has become a political battleground.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has called for Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day today and has set up a Facebook page to draw attention.

The controversy, of course, comes from a statement by Chick-fil-A executive Dan Cathy, who supports the view of marriage as between a man and a woman. Dan Cathy, son of company founder Truman Cathy, saidΒ the fast-food giant was βguilty as chargedβ of supporting βthe biblical definition of the family unit.β
