'Summer Of Love' Sneak Peak Set For Saturday At Forsyth Animal Shelter
Adoption fees will be waived for pet adoptions at the Forsyth Animal Shelter event, which will include raffles, costume contest and more.
CUMMING, GA β The Forsyth County Animal Shelter will host an 80βs-themed adoption event from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, in front of the Animal Shelter, 4065 County Way, and at the Coal Mountain Dog Park, 4055 County Way. The event is a βsneak peekβ for the shelterβs annual Summer of Love adoption special, waiving adoption fees, which begins May 28.
Adoption fees will be waived for all pet adoptions at the event, which will feature raffles, a costume contest for pet owners and their pets, a groomer providing 80βs-themed styles for animals, a face painter, bounce house and other vendors. Pet owners are encouraged to bring their pets and join in the fun.
βThis event is more than any regular adoption event,β Animal Shelter Manager Cindy Iacopella said. βWe wanted to create an experience that embodies what itβs like to have a pet β fun and for the whole family.β
