Taste of Forsyth Treats Crowds

More than 18,000 people show up for this weekend's Taste of Forsyth at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

This weekend's third annual Taste of Forsyth proved to be a crowd-pleasing event drawing more than 18,000 people to the Cumming Fairgrounds, according to event organizers.

During the seven-hour food festival, more than 20 food vendors were on hand selling tasty treats from BBQ chicken and pizza to deep fried brownies and cupcakes. In addition to all the food, the acoustic sounds of Scott Thompson of Peachtree Station and the talents of Peter Hart entertained the crowd and his magical puppet shows. Also, children between the ages of 3 and 10-years-old were treated to a massive Easter egg hunt with more than 40,000 eggs spread across the lawn.
