Vehicles, Electronics To Be Featured At Forsyth Surplus Auction
Vehicles, electronics, equipment and more will be up for bid at the upcoming Forsyth County auction.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA β An auction of surplus items from Forsyth County government will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at 843 Canton Highway in Cumming. A wide variety of items will be available for bid including cars, trucks, mowers, equipment, electronics and office furniture.
βThe auction is always a great way for residents to purchase county surplus items at reasonable prices and the county will no longer need to pay to store those items,β Forsyth County Director of Procurement Donna Kukarola said.
The auction site will be open for a preview of items on Friday, November 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again on the day of the auction from 8 to 10 a.m., with bidding to begin at 10 a.m. The event will take place rain or shine. Concessions will be available.

Potential buyers must register and obtain a bidderβs number in order to participate in the auction, and a driverβs license will be required at the time of registration. Acceptable methods of payment are cash, credit card (a 3.5 percent processing fee will apply for credit card purchases), and personal or company check (with a current bank letter of guarantee). This is a 13.5 percent buyersβ premium auction. Full payment must be made on the day of the auction and items should be removed from the auction site the day of the event, unless other arrangements are made. Gates will close at 4 p.m. All sales are final and all items are sold as is, with no warranties or guarantees.
