Voter Registration Deadline is Monday, July 2
Forsyth County residents have until the close of business on Monday, July 2, to register to vote in the General Primary.

The clock is ticking for Forsyth County residents to register to vote for the July 31 General Primary and Non-Partisan/Special Election (the ).
A voter registration application must be completely filled out and either USPS postmarked or otherwise delivered to the no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July in order for it count.
The deadline also applies to residents who have name or address changes.

Voter registration forms are available at the Voter Registrar's office located in the Forsyth County Administration Building, 110 East Main Street, Suite 200 in downtown Cumming. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. You can also download the PDF form on the right.
Residents can also register to vote at any public library in Forsyth County, and leave the registration form with the librarian.

With the passing of the National Voter Registration Act, also known as the "Motor Voter" law, residents can register at the same time they receive their driver's license.
In order to be eligible to vote in the July 31 General Primary, all properly completed applications received in the Voter Registrar's office not meeting the above deadline will be processed after the election and those individuals will be eligible to vote in future elections.
In order to be eligible to register to vote a person must be a citizen of the United States and the State of Georgia; be at least 17 1/2 years of age; be a resident of the county or municipality in which he or she seeks to vote; cannot be currently serving a felony conviction; and cannot have been judicially determined to be mentally incompetent to vote.
