Woman Caught Smuggling Drugs into Forsyth Jail
The inmate was found to have concealed methamphetamine in her private areas, sheriff's deputies said.

A woman imprisoned at the new Forsyth County jail on drug possession charges now faces more charges after it was discovered she had smuggled drugs into the facility, Forsyth County sheriffβs deputies said Friday.
Kimberley Doris Ramey, 24 was originally booked into the jail on Oct. 1 on charges of possession of methamphetamine and use of drug-related objects, sheriffβs office spokesman Epifanio Rodriguez said. Upon arrest, Ramey was patted down for contraband but deputies did not examine her private areas.
β[T]his is not an area that we check, which is why it was not found in the initial pat down after the arrest,β Rodriguez said.
