Here are the top three stories today in and around Dacula:

1. The Gwinnett County Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred on a Lawrenceville basketball court. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon. The victim was a 17-year-old boy. As of Monday afternoon, the department has not made any arrests in the investigation and reports that it is still in its early stages. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
2. The Barrow County Sheriff's Office reports that a wanted felon might be in Gwinnett County. Thomas Connor Johnson has active felony warrants for terroristic threats, simple assault, and obstruction of law enforcement. He is likely armed. Anyone with information about Johnson and his whereabouts is asked to contact the department. (Yahoo.com)
