  1. The suspect in a Gwinnett County murder is still at large. The Suwanee Police Department is searching for Joshua Ryan Poteat, 17 years old, for allegedly killing a 16-year-old county resident. Two other suspects have already been apprehended. Poteat is facing felony murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault charges. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (CBS46)
  2. The Gwinnett County school board has approved a new plan for improving student behavior. The district hopes that the new plan will close the achievement gap while providing a safe, supportive learning environment. The plan asks schools to view disciplinary actions as teachable moments designed to teach life-long lessons about self-control and proper behavior. Most notably, the plan asks suspensions and expulsions to only be used for the most serious of infractions. Click to view the full plan. (Gwinnett County Public Schools)
  3. Gwinnett County department heads will be presenting their 2023 business plans to a Citizens Review Team starting Monday. The group will analyze the proposals after the presentations. The group will then provide funding recommendations to the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. The program is meant to provide the commission information from a resident's perspective.
