- The Gwinnett County Police Department is reportedly investigating a fatal shooting between brothers. The department responded to a Deep Springs Drive home around 1:00 p.m. on Monday to discover 44-year-old Michael Robinson shot by his 47-year-old brother Aaron Robinson. The shooting was the result of a domestic dispute but the department is reportedly investigating all motives. (11 Alive)
- Gwinnett County will begin mailing property tax bills on Thursday. The bills will have a due date of Nov. 1. Residents will be able to view and pay the bills online through this link. The Property Tax Customer Service line can be reached by calling 770-822-8800. (OCG News)
- Gwinnett County has formulated an official contract to pull water from Lake Lanier. The contract is with the state of Georgia and is for 30 years. This is reportedly the first time such an agreement has been formalized for Lake Lanier. The Water Storage Agreement allows County residents to pull up to 112 million gallons of water from the lake each day. The county currently only uses 76 million gallons per day. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
