  1. The Gwinnett County Police Department continues to search for the driver that performed a hit-and-run against a motorcyclist on Jul. 3. The driver of a silver Chevrolet Traverse LS struck a 28-year-old Buford motorcyclist near the intersection of Hamilton Mill Lane and Hamilton Mill Road. The SUV's hood appears to have a dent on the front bumper. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  2. A Gwinnett County jury has returned a $1.7 billion verdict against Ford Motor Co. The case involved a pickup truck crash that killed a Georgia couple in Apr. 2014. The roofs of the vehicles are defective, causing the crash to claim the victims' lives, according to the couple's attorney. The jury agreed that the Ford pickup trucks' roofs are deeply flawed.   3. The Gwinnett County Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred outside a Duluth sports bar. The department responded to Sportstime Bar & Grille on Satellite Blvd around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday. The victim was identified as Kevin Blackwell and he was declared dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (WSBTV)
