  1. A Gwinnett County student has won the 2022 Georgia Farm Bureau High School Art Contest. Zihan Zhao is a rising senior at SKA Academy Art and Design in nearby Duluth. Zhao has won $250 for winning the award and another $100 for winning the bureau's third district award. Click the link to view the stunning drawing. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
  2. Gwinnett County Police Department's K9 unit Kai was met with cheers and applause when released from the animal hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Kai was shot during an incident that occurred last month. The 2-year-old Belgian Malinois still has a long road ahead to fully recover but the department is hopeful. (Atlanta CW 69)
  3. Calling all artists and writers between 6th-12th grade: Gwinnett County Public Library is currently accepting entries for its Universal Scribbles literary magazine.
