Apparently, I belong in Montana. I've often thought this based primarily on my perception of Montana as a sparsely-populated, wide-open space where I could have a house in the middle of nowhere and just enjoy the countryside. Granted, the weather is a bit of a turnoff, but that's what fireplaces and furnaces are for I suppose.

The quiz is based on research in which Jason Rentfrow of the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom mapped state-by-state ratings of personality and temperament.
