Here are the top three stories today in Dacula:

  1. Gwinnett Unity Project's 3rd Annual Juneteenth Cultural Celebration will be held on Saturday, Jun. 18 at Rabbit Hill Park. The event is meant to bring the community together for a family-friendly inclusive fun event. Participants will have the opportunity to receive COVID-19 vaccines and various health screenings during the celebration. (Digital Journal)
  2. A Gwinnett County Police Department officer was involved in a vehicular wreck at the intersection of Ga. 316 and Drowning Creek Road in Dacula. The incident occurred on Thursday and temporarily closed the roadway. The officer did not reportedly obtain any injuries during the wreck. The other driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment. ( The Atlanta Journal Constitution)

  • Gwinnett County Public Library reminds the community that a bedtime story can be the key to a good night's sleep. The Good Night Gwinnett program is every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Participants will enjoy a bedtime story and song. (Gwinnett County Public Library via Instagram)
  • The Gardening 101 class is a free program at 205 Dacula Road meant to educate the community on best gardening practices. The class will be today at 8:00 a.m. (All Events)
