Lawrenceville Marine Died In Training Accident
Two marines died when their tactical vehicle rolled over near the intersection of Highway 201 and U.S. Highway 17 in North Carolina.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A Lawrencville Marine was one of the two killed Tuesday in a training accident in North Carolina, reported WSB-TV.
Lance Corporal Jonathan Gierke from Lawrenceville and Private First Class Zachary Riffle from West Virginia died outside of Jacksonville when their tactical vehicle rolled over near the intersection of Highway 201 and U.S. Highway 17, the Marine Corps told WSB.
