Here are the top three stories in Dacula today:
- Gwinnett County Public Schools has confirmed that an adult associated with Dacula Elementary School has tested positive for monkeypox. Parents were alerted through a letter from district officials. The individual's name was withheld for privacy reasons. The individual will remain off the school campus until cleared by medical staff. (Dacula Patch)
- On Diamond Day, Dacula's softball team won against Parkview High School and North Atlanta High School during round-robin play. The score was seven to one against Parkview High School. Against North Atlanta High School, the final score was four to zero. The team is now nine to one for the season. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
- The Gwinnett County Police Department is still searching for a missing 16-year-old girl that went missing late last month. The department has reportedly exhausted all leads and they are now turning to the community for help. Anyone with information about Susana Morales' whereabouts is asked to come forward immediately. Tips can be submitted to the department or Crime Stoppers. (Georgia Sun)
