Here are the top three stories today in and around Dacula:
- A suspect has been arrested in the tragic shooting of a local beloved football coach and father. David Jarrad Booker, 20, was arrested by the Gwinnett County Police Department for the Jul. 10 shooting that occurred at a QuickTrip at Peachtree Parkway and Peachtree Corners Circle. Surveillance footage at the gas station was reportedly the key to arresting Booker. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- The Gwinnett County Police Department is currently investigating a double homicide that occurred on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at a home on Lake Drive near Norris Lake. 17-year-old John Pendrack and 19-year-old Aiden Reynolds were located at the scene with gunshot wounds. The department's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit are conducting the investigation. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
