Here are the top three stories in Dacula today:

1. The research hub, Rowen, is being finalized for a site near Dacula. The project is expected to cost $7 billion by the time it's fully built. The first phase will cost roughly $1.1 billion by 2035. The project planners expect Rowen will create 18,500 new jobs by 2035 and 100,000 by the time of its completion. The project will include offices, research facilities, public spaces, and residential spaces. (Commercial Search)
2. The Gwinnett Place Mall Site Revitalization Team has announced its recommendations for the renovation of Gwinnett Place Mall. According to the team, the site should be turned into "Global Villages.” The new project would include retail, office, and residential space. There would also be a cultural center and a parking deck. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
3. Gwinnett County's Andrew Jones has been arrested as a result of a multi-agency investigation into human trafficking and drugs. The 34-year-old was investigated after the agencies received information about the man giving fentanyl to several women in exchange for cash and sexual favors. The investigators located marijuana, fentanyl, methamphetamine, firearms, syringes, and a make-shift lab in Jones' home. He has been charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking fentanyl, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
