Theft Suspect Captured, Another Sought: Gwinnett Police

DACULA, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying a man suspected of burglary.

On Aug. 26, there was a burglary in a home on Melton Commons Drive, police say, adding that Steven Alvarez, 26, is a suspect. Another suspect remains unidentified.

Alvarez has two warrants for his arrest on charges of buglary and theft by taking.

The other suspect is described as a heavy-set white male, about 25 to 29 years old, a beard and a tattoo on his left forearm.
