Thief Unable to Resist Temptation of Purse Left on Floorboard
Grocery bag placed on top of purse proved to be an inadequate disguise.

Though a Lawrenceville woman tried to hide her purse during a recent visit to Rabbit Hill Park in Dacula, her concealment efforts proved inadequate.
On June 30, the 63-year-old retiree placed her purse on the floorboard of her vehicle and covered it with a grocery bag before entering the park at approximately 12:50 p.m. Two-and-a-half hours later, she returned to her vehicle to find her passenger side window smashed and her pink Anne KleinΒ purse missing.
The purse contained two checkbooks, at least two credit cards and a pair of reading glasses.
