Here are the top three stories in Dacula today:
- The Gwinnett County District Attorney has announced that she will prosecute unsafe abortion providers. The decision to prosecute the providers is Patsy Austin-Gatson's reaction to Georgia's new restrictions. According to Gatson, she will not prioritize cases against abortion patients, however. - Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful is currently accepting applications for its Green Youth Advisory Council. Applications for the 2023 class are due by Aug. 29. Two members will receive $2,000 scholarships through the Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia. Click to apply. (AJC.com)
- Residents are encouraged to participate in a survey meant to determine the future of the county's transit system. The survey is being offered through Aug. 15.
