  1. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta has announced its plans to build a new facility for mental and behavioral health treatments. Ten acres of land have been donated by The Zalik Foundation for the new treatment center. The property already contains two office buildings that may be utilized for the facility.   2. The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has named a new general manager and executive officer. On Oct. 27, the MARTA Board of directors voted to confirm Collie Greenwood, who has already spoken about his intentions to enhance and expand the public transportation of metro Atlanta. Greenwood has been the interim CEO for Marta since January, after former CEO Jeffrey Parker died. (Decaturish.com )
