  1. On Halloween in Avondale Estates, Clarendon Ave., Wiltshire Dr., and Berkeley Rd. will be running one way starting at 5:30 p.m. Starting at the same time, Clarendon Place will be closed to traffic. These traffic controls will remain in place until 8 p.m. Residents within the affected areas will have access to their property, but will need to follow the traffic flows. (Decaturish.com )
  2. FCP has acquired the 304-unit Park 35 apartments in Decatur for $40.5 million. The company has invested in 33 properties since entering the Atlanta market in 2015. FCP’s Michael Errichetti said, β€œThe property fits well within FCP’s growing workforce apartment portfolio.” (citybiz)
  3. DeKalb County elementary schools are getting additional funding for repairs. Hawthorne Elementary, Midvale Elementary, and Rock Chapel Elementary will receive repairs to HVAC systems, roofing, and fire safety tools. Although the funding will not be able to fix every problem at each school, it will improve the everyday lives of students and staff alike. (Decaturish.com )
