Avondale Police Say iPod Stolen

Two residents report financial transaction fraud.

This information comes from Avondale Estate Police Department reports.

An iPod was stolen from a vehicle parked outside Rite Aid.

The vehicle owner said he was working in the store between 10:30 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. May 31 when somebody broke into his 2003 Yukon.

The iPod was valued at $75.

A Dunwich Drive resident discovered somebody had used their Suntrust Mastercard debit card to make $892.76 in purchases between May 25 and 28.

A Berkeley Road resident said somebody used their credit card number to make $284.10 in purchases between May 11 and June 1.

A Berkeley Road resident reported a stolen lawnmower. The resident said they loaned the lawnmower to "a known subject" May 25 and it was not returned. The mower was valued at $300.
