Celebrate Black History Month In Decatur And DeKalb

The DeKalb History Center is holding an event this week to celebrate the county's vibrant African-American heritage.

DECATUR, GA -- The DeKalb History Center is holding a Black History Month celebration this week, to recognize the county's vibrant and powerful African American political heritage, and the legacy of African American citizens in DeKalb.

The event will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, from 11 am-1 pm, at DeKalb History Center, 101 E. Court Sq. Tickets are $30 for members, $40 for non-members.
