Chick-fil-A Set Sales Record On 'Appreciation Day'

Perhaps people thought they were making a statement. As the New York Times reported,

On Friday, the other side makes its feelings known in Decatur

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has organized the National Same-Sex Kiss Day at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the country.

In Decatur, kissers are urged to pucker up from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the Chick-fil-A at 105 East Trinity Place.

Judging from comments on the Decatur/Avondale Patch Facebook page, some people will be ready to pucker up.
