  1. A 13-year-old boy has been declared missing as of Monday evening and was last seen in Decatur. Zion, whose last name has not been released, was last seen at a home near Russell Drive. The missing boy was wearing a camouflage shirt and gray sweatpants. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 770-724-7710. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. DeKalb County sentenced Clunis Calbert to 20 years in a 2017 vehicular homicide that killed a baby and injured the child's parents. Calvert pled guilty on Oct. 14 and will serve 10 years in custody with the possibility of probation. The crash happened on Mountain Industrial Boulevard and Presidents Way when Calvert crossed the median and smashed into another car head-on. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  3. The Decatur City Commission will be holding a public hearing on missing middle housing proposals on Monday, Oct. 17. The regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. will be held in person at Decatur City Hall and on Zoom. The city commission is not expected to vote on the proposals at this time. (Decaturish.com )
