Civil War Walking Tours Teach Decatur's Early History
The hour-long tours are led by historians from the DeKalb History Center and will continue through the end of January.

Join the DeKalb History Center for guided Civil War walking tours in downtown Decatur.
The hour-long tour begins in the lobby of the Historic DeKalb Courthouse and complements the new exhibit, Tears and Curses: A Human Perspective on the Civil War.

Attendees will learn about the early history of the county, the effects of the war on the civilian population in DeKalb, the Atlanta campaign, and the Battle of Decatur.

Tour groups will meet in the lobby on the main floor of the courthouse.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 6 to 18, and free for children under 5 with an adult.
