- The DeKalb County Police Department arrested and charged 31-year-old Oscar Arreola with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer. Arreola is believed to be the second suspect in the shooting of a Chamblee police officer on Nov. 1. (Decaturish.com)
- The DeKalb County Police Department is searching for missing 13-year-old Nicholas who was last seen on Oct. 25 near Oxbridge Way. He is 5'10, 130 pounds, has brown eyes, and black locs with brown tips. He was last seen in a black hoodie, black jeans, and black Forces. View the link to see a picture of Nicholas. - On Oct. 26, the Avondale Estates City Commission discussed the city's 2023 proposed capital budget and three-year capital program for 2022, 2023, and 2024. Projects for the program include the Town Green, stormwater within the downtown, street grid within the downtown, paving Franklin Street from Olive to Oak, and more.
