Feb. 8 Is Deadline For Input On Decatur Strategic Plan
City leaders want to know how you think your tax dollars should be spent.

DECATUR, GA -- Residents have until Feb. 8, 2019, to offer their input into the city of Decaturβs 2010 Strategic Plan.
The plan identified four principles the community felt were important to creating and sustaining a wonderful place to live. Since the implementation of the plan, it has become the guide to direct financial resources and planning in almost every aspect of government. The plan included 89 tasks and as of January 2019, 86 of those tasks have been completed or are underway.
As the time frame on the 2010 Strategic Plan nears its completion date, city officials want to know how residents think it should spend its time and their tax dollars on the few remaining strategic plan tasks that are either underway or yet to be started.
