Inman Park’s Folk Art Opening New Decatur Location
The restaurant is aiming for a fall 2019 debut in the old Thumbs Up Diner spot.
DECATUR, GA -- Folk Art, based out of Inman Park, is aiming for a fall 2019 debut for its new Decatur location. According to a press release, Decatur's Folk Art will be housed in the former Thumbs Up Diner space at 174 Ponce de Leon Avenue.
Folk Art is co-owned by Rhoda Hill and Randy Parks. According to the restaurant's website, Folk Art is a breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch spot specializing in all-day diner-style favorites such as chicken-and-waffles; eggs any style; jumbo biscuits with house made jellies or sausage gravy; signature roasted pork chili; fried chicken sandwiches and six types of brunch-style eggs Benedict.
A Florida native, Hill has a 28-year restaurant career. Parks is a food industry veteran since he was 16.
