Police are looking for Calvin Sneed, 51, a top salesman at Superior Chevrolet in Decatur on Covington Highway.

Sneed is on the run from authorities after he got into an altercation with 30-year-old Gregory Jones Jr., over the abusive treatment of his mother. Sneed allegedly shot him outside a northwest Atlanta home, media reports.

Jones managed to get back inside the home to tell his family what had happened.

β€œHe said, 'I’ve been shot four times.' He said, 'Calvin just shot me,'” Mary Andrews, Jones' grandmother, told the TV station. β€œI said, β€˜Don’t say that you’re dying. Say that in the blood of Jesus that you will live.'”

Sneed came to work the next day, where he allegedly confessed to the killing.
β€œAnd (he said) that he was cleaning his office out because he didn’t want police to come looking for him," APD police spokesman Lt. Charles Hampton told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Jones' family has set up a GoFundMe account to help with funeral costs. It says: "On Tuesday February 14, 2017 Gregory L. Jones Jr. died after being brutally shot four times Monday night. He didn't have any insurance and we need help trying to bury him. Gregory has 5 children who he can no longer be with. Please help us put his soul to rest."

Sneed's car was reportedly recovered less than two miles from the crime scene. He is considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Callers may remain anonymous, and are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
