The Lady Raiders keep adding to their state-record winning streak in tennis.

The girls' state-record tennis winning streak is at 140 after they shut out 3-0 in the Region 5-AAAAA tournament. The Lady Raiders are idle over spring break but will play in the championship next week. Walton’s winners were Emily Zabor, Maxie Weinberg and Stephanie Falcon. … The Pope girls won the Buckhead Rotary Invitational by defeating Johns Creek 3-2 in the final. The Lady Greyhounds head into the Region 5-AAAA tournament with a 10-3 record. … After suffering back-to-back losses, the boys righted their ship with a 4-1 home victory over Holy Innocents’ on Thursday. The Wolverines won at No. 2 and No. 3 singles and swept the doubles matches.

The Walton boys had a strong showing at the Cobb County Invitational at , narrowly taking second place in the event, won by . Walton sent A and B teams, which placed second and fourth, respectively. John Yi paced Walton with a 71.
