Here are the top three stories in East Cobb today:

  1. Crumbl Cookies will be opening its second East Cobb location soon. The first location was opened in 2017 at the former Cold Stone Creamery space on Johnson Ferry Road. The cookie franchise reports that its new store location is still in its early stages. The franchise has nearly 600 locations across the country. (East Cobb News)
  2. Cobb Schools Foundation has received a $175,000 donation from Publix Super Markets. The donation is part of the grocery store's "Tools for Back to School" campaign. The funds will be used to purchase basic learning materials for students, such as markers, pens, crayons, and notebooks. (East Cobb News)
  3. The deadline to register to vote for the Nov. 8 General Election is Tuesday, Oct. 11. Cobb County voters will have the opportunity to participate in early voting for this election.
