Sewell Park Pool Opens This Weekend

A new splash pad will add to the summertime fun for kids.

The Sewell Park pool is opening for the summer this Saturday, May 25.

It is one of two outdoor pools operated by the Cobb County Parks, Recreation, Cultural Affairs Department -- the other is in Powder Springs.

Department director Eddie Canon said that a new splash pad has been installed at the Sewell Park pool, located at 2055 Lower Roswell Road.

The pool hours are 1-5 p.m., Tuesday-Sunday, and the pool will be open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27.

The admission fees are $3.50 for children ages 2-17, $4.50 for adults and $2.12 for seniors ages 60 and older.

Quarterly passes also are available for all age groups and for families. For more information, visit the Cobb aquatics website.
