- Marietta police arrested a suspect after a lengthy standoff on Thursday night. According to authorities, the suspect had barricaded himself in an apartment complex on Roswell Road. While there has not yet been a statement on why the suspect was barricaded, it did warrant the attention of a large number of armed officers and the SWAT team. The suspect was taken into custody without any injuries. (East Cobb News)
- On Friday morning, commuters began using the Windy Hill-Terrell Mill connector. The new connector is designed to help reduce traffic through East Cobb along Interstate 75 and the Northwest Express Lanes. This four-lane connector comes in at $45.8 million. Drivers can access the commuter on Windy Hill Road by the Spectrum Circle/Interstate North Parkway. (East Cobb News)

Residents over the age of 18 can speak with recruiters from Parkaire Landing, where they can have their resumes professionally reviewed.
