Holly Springs Police Academy Accepting Applications

Holly Springs Police Department will begin another session of the Citizen’s Police Academy in March.  The academy is a six-week program that meets every Monday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. beginning on March 12 and ending on April 16.

According to a HSPD press release, "the Citizen’s Police Academy is designed to offer citizens a firsthand look at the responsibilities and daily operations of a police department and includes hands-on scenario based exercises."

Class size is limited and applications are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Applicants must be at least 19 years old and will be subject to a background investigation.
